Who it is for

  • Riders who want to fix one specific thing, be it line, braking or lean angle
  • Anyone who does not get on with group courses and wants to ride at their own pace
  • Riders coming back after a long break or after a crash

What to expect

On a group course you share an instructor with three other riders. Here you share him with nobody. Three or six hours of one-to-one motorcycle training on the Vysoké Mýto race circuit, all of it about you.

Prices with no small print

A three-hour session is CZK 10,000 (approx. €400), a six-hour session CZK 15,000 (approx. €600). That covers the instructor, the circuit and the Interphone.

You ride your own bike

The whole point of this course is that you arrive on your own machine and learn to ride that one. Bike hire is therefore not included in the price. If you do not have a bike of your own, tell us in advance: in most cases we can lend you one from our fleet, but it is charged separately.

When it makes sense

One-to-one training pays off most when you already know what is going wrong. You run wide because you are looking too close in front of the wheel. You brake late and then have to tighten the line. You are wary of lean angle, even though the bike is perfectly happy with it. All of that can shift in a few hours, but only with somebody watching nothing except you.

The instructor rides with you, talks to you through the helmet Interphone, and between sessions you sit down and unpick what happened. We lend you a helmet with an Interphone, or fit one into yours. No queueing at the cones.

Our instructors speak English, so book the day in English and the coaching runs in English from the first lap.

Itinerary

  1. Before the day

    A short phone call

We talk through what you can already do and what you want to improve, then pick the drills and the session lengths to match.

  2. On the day

    Warm-up and setup

Bike, Interphone, a few laps to learn the circuit. The instructor films you and watches how you ride.

  3. Core

    Riding sessions with live feedback

You follow the instructor, who talks into your helmet and tells you where to brake, where to look and when to open the throttle. Between sessions we sit down and go through it.

  4. Wrap-up

    Debrief

What went well, and one concrete piece of homework for next time.

FAQ

What is the minimum age?

You can come to our training and experience rides without a driving licence. The youngest participant of our week-long camp was 11 years old. A licence follows the statutory age limits (A2 from 18, unrestricted A from 24, or from 20 after two years on A2).

Can I manage it if I have never sat on a motorcycle?

Yes. Most people start with us from zero. We begin on a light bike on soft ground, where a fall costs nothing, and build up from there. No previous experience is needed.

Do I need a driving licence?

For off-road training, for the closed race track and for experience rides you do not need a licence, because we ride away from public roads. You only need one where we go out on the road (road tours and expeditions).

Can I hire a motorcycle from you?

Yes. We have the largest BMW test fleet in the Czech Republic and bike hire is part of most courses and expeditions. All bikes are insured with a minimal excess. You are also welcome to come on your own machine.

Do you lend me a motorcycle, or do I have to bring my own?

It differs from service to service. Experience rides: we lend the bikes, you go through five of them during the ride. Off-road training: 5 500 CZK on your own bike, 8 800 CZK with our BMW. Weekend off-road training: 13 000 CZK on your own, 18 000 CZK with our BMW. Private race track training: you ride your own motorcycle, ours can be arranged in advance for an extra charge. Private off-road training: bike hire is included. Expeditions: the bike and all fuel are included.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothing for the weather, sturdy boots and a willingness to learn. We lend you the protective kit: helmet, gloves, body armour, knee guards and boots.

How much does it cost?

The fixed prices: experience ride on the track and off road 8 899 CZK · off-road training 5 500 CZK on your own bike, 8 800 CZK with our BMW · weekend off-road training 13 000 CZK, or 18 000 CZK with our BMW · private race track training 3 hours for 10 000 CZK, 6 hours for 15 000 CZK · week-long camp 60 000 CZK · tailor-made expedition from 59 000 CZK · motorcycle hire in Spain 4 500 CZK a day. As a rough guide, 25 CZK is about 1 EUR. For the other services the price depends on the date and the option, so write to us and we will send it straight back.

Do I need my own riding kit?

No. On our courses we lend you a helmet, gloves, body armour, knee guards and riding boots. If you have your own kit, bring it. On experience rides protectors are lent by prior arrangement for an extra 500 CZK (approx. 20 EUR).
