What to expect
None of the published dates work for you? There are five of you and you would rather not add strangers to the group? Or you have a destination in mind that we do not normally run? We will build the expedition around you: route, accommodation, logistics, the lot.
The format that works best is six days: four days of pure riding and two for the journey out and back. That is enough mileage to properly find your rhythm and still enjoy it, without eating an entire year's holiday. It is not a rule, though. If you want longer, or just a long weekend, we will adjust it.
A sample trip in that format starts at CZK 59,000 (approx. €2,360; the usual price is CZK 83,000). The final figure depends on the destination, the length and the number of riders, so we quote it once we know what you want.
What is and is not in the price
The price covers bike hire (a BMW R 1300 GS, F 900 GS or F 800 GS, insured with a minimal excess), all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways. You can swap bikes during the trip. Our instructors speak English, so an all-English group is no problem at all.
Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, though we can arrange all of it. Accommodation costs €80 per person per night in a single room and €40 in a shared one. In Spain we put you up either in a hotel or on our own ranch.
Bringing the family?
No problem. Family members who will not be riding get a car, so they can see the same places you do. In Spain we have horses to ride, in Portugal there is surfing in the ocean, and if you have never surfed, we will teach you.

How many of you there are, what level you ride at, when you can travel and whether you want gravel or tarmac. The bases are central Spain near Plasencia and Peniche in Portugal.
We build the programme and send a price
Within a few days you get a day-by-day route proposal, accommodation, logistics and a price. We send a sample quote up front so you know the ballpark.
Travel and bike handover
Arrival by air or road, check-in and an introduction to the bike. Kit and Interphone setup, then a shakedown loop.
Four days of riding
The heart of the expedition. We build the route each morning around the group and the weather. Technical riders go with one instructor, relaxed riders with another.
Journey home
Bikes handed back and departure. Photos and video land in a shared gallery.

FAQ
What is included in the price of an expedition?
Hire of an insured motorcycle (you can swap bikes with the instructors along the way), all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways. Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, but we are happy to arrange them for you. Most expeditions last 6 days (4 riding days), the Portuguese ones 7 days, and Spain can also be ridden as 8 days.
What is not included in the price of an expedition?
Flights, accommodation and meals. Budget for them on top; we are happy to arrange all of them, but they are paid separately. What you do get in the price is hire of an insured motorcycle, all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways.
Do I have to find accommodation for the expedition myself?
No, we arrange it for you, it is simply paid separately. As a rough guide, reckon on about 80 EUR per person per night in a single room and 40 EUR in a shared one, and about 40 and 20 EUR on Spain and Portugal. We confirm the exact price when you book, as it varies with the destination and the date.
How demanding are the expeditions?
We build the routes around the level of the group. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and nobody is pushed. Previous off-road experience is not needed; riders who have only ever been on tarmac manage perfectly well.
Can I manage an expedition without any off-road experience?
Yes, no experience is needed, we teach you everything. All you need is a motorcycle licence. We adapt the routes to your wishes and riding level. Our expeditions have been ridden by a man who had just passed his test, by a woman with zero off-road experience and by an 11-year-old beginner.
How long does an expedition last?
A standard expedition lasts 6 days, of which 4 are riding days. For Spain, and for Spain with Portugal, you can also choose the longer 8-day version (6 riding days). The Portuguese expeditions (Euphoria, Freedom) last 7 days, of which 5 are riding days.
Can I hire a motorcycle from you?
Yes. We have the largest BMW test fleet in the Czech Republic and bike hire is part of most courses and expeditions. All bikes are insured with a minimal excess. You are also welcome to come on your own machine.
Do you lend me a motorcycle, or do I have to bring my own?
It differs from service to service. Experience rides: we lend the bikes, you go through five of them during the ride. Off-road training: 5 500 CZK on your own bike, 8 800 CZK with our BMW. Weekend off-road training: 13 000 CZK on your own, 18 000 CZK with our BMW. Private race track training: you ride your own motorcycle, ours can be arranged in advance for an extra charge. Private off-road training: bike hire is included. Expeditions: the bike and all fuel are included.
