Terms and conditions

Effective from [TO BE COMPLETED: effective date]

1. The provider

The services offered on this website are provided by Přijďte se projet s.r.o., a company incorporated in the Czech Republic, with its registered office at Radiměř 461, 569 07 Radiměř, Czech Republic, company registration number (IČO) 08783756, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, Section C, Insert 45085 (the “provider”).

Contact: info@prijdteseprojet.cz, telephone +420 774 488 612. Bank details: [TO BE COMPLETED: bank account number].

2. Scope of services

The provider offers in particular the following services:

  • motorcycle riding courses (on a closed race circuit, off-road, trial, one-to-one tuition, multi-day courses and camps),
  • motorcycle expeditions and tours in the Czech Republic and abroad,
  • experience rides and gift vouchers,
  • corporate events and team building on motorcycles,
  • hire of a motorcycle and protective gear as part of the services listed above.

Off-road courses, courses on a closed circuit and experience rides do not take place on public roads and do not require a driving licence. A driving licence of the relevant category is, on the other hand, a condition for services that involve riding in road traffic (tours and expeditions). The provider does not operate a driving school; tuition leading to a driving licence is provided by our sister company, Zážitková autoškola.

3. Orders and formation of the contract

An order is placed by submitting the booking or enquiry form on this website, by e-mail or by telephone. The contract is concluded at the moment the provider confirms the order (usually by e-mail within 24 hours) and the customer pays the deposit or the full price, where one has been agreed.

Course capacity is limited. A booking becomes binding only once the payment has been credited to our account; until then the place may be offered to another applicant.

4. Prices and payment

The prices shown on this website are final and are quoted in Czech koruna (CZK). Any amount in euros is a guide only; the contract is always settled in CZK. The provider is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the prices.

Payment is made by bank transfer. The provider will send you the payment details (account number, amount and payment reference) by e-mail once your booking has been confirmed. This website does not run a payment gateway, so online card payment is not available. An invoice made out to a company will be issued on request.

The price of corporate events and bespoke expeditions is set individually according to their scope; the price stated in the written quotation is the binding one.

5. Booking and deposit

For the week-long camp, the booking of a date is confirmed by a deposit of 15 000 CZK (≈ 600 €). The deposit is non-refundable and tied to the specific date, since it is on that basis that the provider holds the capacity, the motorcycle and the instructor for you. The balance of 45 000 CZK (≈ 1800 €) is payable before the course starts. The full amount may also be paid in one go.

For all other services, the amount of the deposit and its due date are agreed in the order confirmation.

6. Change of date and cancellation

  • The customer may ask to move to another date or send a substitute participant in their place. The provider will accommodate this where the capacity and organisation of the event allow.
  • For the week-long camp the deposit of 15 000 CZK (≈ 600 €) remains non-refundable even if the customer cancels; if the date is moved, the deposit is credited against the new date.
  • Cancellation terms for expeditions are governed by the written quotation. For trips abroad, the costs (transport, accommodation) are incurred in advance and are non-refundable.
  • Specific cancellation fees: [TO BE COMPLETED: cancellation fees].

7. Gift vouchers

A gift voucher can be redeemed against any of the provider's services. The value of the voucher is chosen by the buyer. Any unused balance is not forfeited; it remains available for another service. The voucher is transferable. Voucher validity: [TO BE COMPLETED: voucher validity].

8. Running of the course, safety and the participant's responsibilities

  • Participants must follow the instructor's directions and use protective gear. The provider lends out a helmet, gloves, a body armour vest, knee protectors and motorcycle boots.
  • Taking part under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that reduces alertness is not permitted. The instructor may exclude such a participant from riding with no right to a refund.
  • Participants ride at their own responsibility and declare that they are medically fit to do so. Any health limitations must be disclosed to the instructor before riding begins.
  • Minimum age of a participant: [TO BE COMPLETED: minimum age of a participant]. A participant who is a minor may only take part with the consent of their legal guardian.

9. Motorcycle hire

The provider's motorcycles are insured and the excess is kept to a minimum. The specific hire terms and the amount of the excess are discussed with the participant before riding begins. The participant is liable for damage caused by a gross breach of the instructor's directions. Detailed terms: [TO BE COMPLETED: hire terms and the amount of the excess].

10. Cancellation of an event by the provider

We ride in the rain too, because riding on a wet surface is part of the training. The provider may only cancel an event in extreme weather or in other circumstances that would put the safety of participants at risk, or if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In such a case we will offer an alternative date or refund the price paid in full.

11. Withdrawal from a distance contract

A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. However, under Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code this right does not apply to leisure-time services provided on a specified date, that is, to courses, expeditions and experience rides with a firmly agreed date. [TO BE REVIEWED BY A LAWYER.]

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please raise any complaint as soon as possible at info@prijdteseprojet.cz. The provider will deal with it within 30 days. A consumer may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz), which is the body competent for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

13. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy; the use of cookies is described in our Cookie policy.

14. Final provisions

Matters not covered by these terms and conditions are governed by Czech law, in particular by the Czech Civil Code, regardless of the customer's country of residence. The provider may amend these terms; orders already placed are governed by the version in force on the day of the order.
