Expeditions
Ride the stony Atlas pistes, cross the dunes and drink mint tea in a mud-brick village. Our most exotic expedition, and you can join it without a single hour of off-road riding.
We quote by date and number of riders. Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, but we are happy to arrange them.

Morocco is the wildest expedition we run. You cross the Mediterranean and land in a country where the piste runs straight down a dry riverbed, where children wave at you from the edge of the village and where the mint tea at the roadside stop is sweet enough to make your teeth ache. In a single day you ride a mountain pass and a slice of desert.
Riding sand is a discipline of its own. You cannot learn it from a video: the bike behaves differently, the throttle works differently, and every instinct you brought from the tarmac is actively unhelpful. That is exactly why we ride it with an instructor on the Interphone. He tells you what to do before you enter the section, not after you have got it wrong. The dunes are not compulsory. If you do not fancy them, you ride round, and nobody makes anything of it.
None of which requires you to be an experienced off-road rider. A licence is enough. Four instructors look after a maximum of eight riders, so there is always an extra pair of eyes on everyone: one instructor rides in front of you, one behind. Routes come in four difficulty grades and we split the groups accordingly.
Leave the bike at home. The price covers bike hire (a BMW F 900 GS or R 1300 GS, insured with a minimal excess), all fuel, the instructors and the airport transfers both ways. During the expedition you can swap machines with the instructors, who all speak English, so the Interphone coaching works for you exactly as it does for everyone else.
Flights, accommodation and meals are not included. We are happy to arrange all of them for you, or you can book them yourself. Your call.
We collect you from the airport, check you in and introduce you to your bike. We set up suspension, kit and Interphone, then ride a shakedown loop.
A mountain start. Dry riverbeds, rock, hairpins with nothing at the edge. We work on standing position and throttle control on ground that moves under the wheels.
The longest stage. Across the Atlas, through mud-brick villages, with a stop for sweet mint tea. In one day the landscape turns from mountain to desert.
The day people come to Morocco for. We teach you to ride sand, which is a discipline of its own and nothing like gravel. The dunes are for whoever wants them.
A different route home from the one we came in on. In the afternoon we wash the bikes (it takes a while) and hand them back.
Transfer to the airport. Photos and video from the whole expedition land in a shared gallery.

Tailor-Made Motorcycle ExpeditionYour group, your dates, your destination. We build the whole trip around you. The sample trip is four days of riding plus two of travel, from CZK 59,000.
Hire of an insured motorcycle (you can swap bikes with the instructors along the way), all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways. Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, but we are happy to arrange them for you. Most expeditions last 6 days (4 riding days), the Portuguese ones 7 days, and Spain can also be ridden as 8 days.
Flights, accommodation and meals. Budget for them on top; we are happy to arrange all of them, but they are paid separately. What you do get in the price is hire of an insured motorcycle, all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways.
No, we arrange it for you, it is simply paid separately. As a rough guide, reckon on about 80 EUR per person per night in a single room and 40 EUR in a shared one, and about 40 and 20 EUR on Spain and Portugal. We confirm the exact price when you book, as it varies with the destination and the date.
We build the routes around the level of the group. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and nobody is pushed. Previous off-road experience is not needed; riders who have only ever been on tarmac manage perfectly well.
Yes, no experience is needed, we teach you everything. All you need is a motorcycle licence. We adapt the routes to your wishes and riding level. Our expeditions have been ridden by a man who had just passed his test, by a woman with zero off-road experience and by an 11-year-old beginner.
A standard expedition lasts 6 days, of which 4 are riding days. For Spain, and for Spain with Portugal, you can also choose the longer 8-day version (6 riding days). The Portuguese expeditions (Euphoria, Freedom) last 7 days, of which 5 are riding days.
Yes. We have the largest BMW test fleet in the Czech Republic and bike hire is part of most courses and expeditions. All bikes are insured with a minimal excess. You are also welcome to come on your own machine.
It differs from service to service. Experience rides: we lend the bikes, you go through five of them during the ride. Off-road training: 5 500 CZK on your own bike, 8 800 CZK with our BMW. Weekend off-road training: 13 000 CZK on your own, 18 000 CZK with our BMW. Private race track training: you ride your own motorcycle, ours can be arranged in advance for an extra charge. Private off-road training: bike hire is included. Expeditions: the bike and all fuel are included.
