Expeditions
White gravel roads between the vineyards, a glass from the winery you rode past that morning, then a ferry to Sardinia where the corners never end. Six days, bike included.
We quote by date and number of riders. Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, but we are happy to arrange them.

This expedition is not about who gets there first. The Tuscan strade bianche, the white gravel roads that run between the vineyards, are probably the most agreeable off-road surface in Europe. They are wide, well kept, and they climb through the hills past the cypresses. Somewhere along them you realise, possibly for the first time, that riding off tarmac can be pure pleasure rather than a fight.
Then you board a ferry and wake up in Sardinia, which is another world entirely. The island roads coil above the sea in a way that makes you reluctant to come back, and the moment you turn off them you are into coarse rock and proper wilderness. One expedition, and you get both the idyll and a serious helping of terrain.
And then there is the food and the wine. We are not going to pretend they are not part of the programme. Dinner at the Tuscan farmhouse and a glass from the winery you rode past that morning are exactly why people come back to this one. The rule is simple and absolute: if you are riding, you are not drinking. Tasting happens when the bikes are parked.
No off-road experience needed. Five instructors look after a maximum of ten riders, there is an Interphone in every helmet, and the route is built around the group.
The price covers bike hire (insured, minimal excess), all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways. You can swap machines with the instructors during the week, and they all speak English.
Flights, accommodation and meals are not included. We are happy to arrange all of them for you.
Check-in at a Tuscan farmhouse, an introduction to the bike, kit and Interphone setup, and a shakedown loop through the surrounding hills.
The famous strade bianche, dusty tracks between the vineyards, cypress avenues and postcard hills. Perfect ground to find your feet on.
Gravel between the wineries in the morning, a tasting at source in the afternoon. If you are riding, you taste afterwards. No exceptions.
The crossing to the island. Sardinia is a different league, with coarser rock, wilder hills and roads that simply refuse to straighten out.
The best day of the expedition. Corners above the sea, dusty turnings inland and stops on the coast. In the afternoon we wash and hand back the bikes.
Departure or airport transfer. Photos and video land in a shared gallery.

Hire of an insured motorcycle (you can swap bikes with the instructors along the way), all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways. Flights, accommodation and meals are not included, but we are happy to arrange them for you. Most expeditions last 6 days (4 riding days), the Portuguese ones 7 days, and Spain can also be ridden as 8 days.
Flights, accommodation and meals. Budget for them on top; we are happy to arrange all of them, but they are paid separately. What you do get in the price is hire of an insured motorcycle, all fuel, the instructors and airport transfers both ways.
No, we arrange it for you, it is simply paid separately. As a rough guide, reckon on about 80 EUR per person per night in a single room and 40 EUR in a shared one, and about 40 and 20 EUR on Spain and Portugal. We confirm the exact price when you book, as it varies with the destination and the date.
We build the routes around the level of the group. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and nobody is pushed. Previous off-road experience is not needed; riders who have only ever been on tarmac manage perfectly well.
Yes, no experience is needed, we teach you everything. All you need is a motorcycle licence. We adapt the routes to your wishes and riding level. Our expeditions have been ridden by a man who had just passed his test, by a woman with zero off-road experience and by an 11-year-old beginner.
A standard expedition lasts 6 days, of which 4 are riding days. For Spain, and for Spain with Portugal, you can also choose the longer 8-day version (6 riding days). The Portuguese expeditions (Euphoria, Freedom) last 7 days, of which 5 are riding days.
Yes. We have the largest BMW test fleet in the Czech Republic and bike hire is part of most courses and expeditions. All bikes are insured with a minimal excess. You are also welcome to come on your own machine.
It differs from service to service. Experience rides: we lend the bikes, you go through five of them during the ride. Off-road training: 5 500 CZK on your own bike, 8 800 CZK with our BMW.
